iDEAL \| Wero is the leading payment method for online shopping in the Netherlands, favored by consumers with a Dutch bank account. This real-time bank transfer system allows consumers to pay directly from their bank accounts.

Since its launch in 2005, iDEAL \| Wero has grown to become the standard for online payments in the Netherlands. It reaches nearly 100% of Dutch consumers and is used for over a billion payments annually. Remarkably, 70% of all e-commerce transactions in the Netherlands are paid through iDEAL \| Wero.  
Effective April 1, 2025, if you have a bank selection list on your payment page:

* Remove the bank selection list from your domain.
* Redirect consumers to iDEAL \| Wero payment page to choose their bank and complete the payment.
