The GlobalCollect platform provides a complete payment processing service that includes the contractual and technical connections to local payment processors worldwide, bank account network management, matching, reporting, currency conversion (FX) and fund remittance. This is what we call the full service payment model.

This is explained in the figure below. The dark green arrows indicate the online transaction and the lighter green lines the reporting and remittance flow.

Gateway Payment Model

In the gateway payment model we take care of the technical connection to local payment processors worldwide and fraud checks (dark green arrows). The offline reports and remittance are done by your acquirers and/or processors directly to your bank (green arrows).

Intermediary payment models
