The Global Collect platform enables you to offer Konbini and Pay-easy as a payment option to your Japanese customers. Konbini uses a unique reference number to identify the transaction. This reference number will be displayed on the website and sent to the e-mail address given by the consumer. The consumer can complete the payment of his online transaction at a convenience store or in a bank branch. With Pay-easy, consumers will be able to complete their payment through internet-banking or ATM.

Boarding

The following requirements have to be met in order to apply for Konbini:

Reseller Application form: This form must be filled out in Japanese and can be sent to you by your account manager
Japanese Website: At least the checkout pages need to be in Japanese
Japanese Terms and Conditions: These need to be in Japanese so that convenience stores and Pay-easy can certify they are compliant with Japanese law. The ‘Act on Specifies Commercial Transactions’ specifically needs to be displayed
Customer Support: Japanese customer support and call center must be available during Japanese office hours
