The test scenario selector is a dynamic testing interface that provides a unified platform for testing alternative payment methods (APMs). It serves two critical functions:

• Consolidates third-party provider test environments – Alternative payment methods can be tested through a single interface instead of navigating multiple disparate systems.
• Enables testing for payment products without provider test environments – Provides comprehensive testing capabilities for payment methods where the provider does not offer a dedicated test environment

This tool is a part of our end-to-end testing initiative, designed to provide a uniform, reliable testing suite for all supported alternative payment products.

The test scenario selector enables you to:

• Select payment-product-specific test cases for simulation
• Specify feedback timeframes for response testing
• Test multiple transaction outcomes including success, failure, timeout, and edge cases
• Validate integration scenarios in a controlled sandbox environment regardless of provider test availability
• Simulate real-world payment flows before production deployment

You can access the Test Scenario Selector by going to the Configuration Center in pre-production environment and clicking on the API Explorer. Then, you can either use Create hosted checkout or Create payment API call.
