Is it possible to receive a chargeback on the Shinhan Card (Authenticated) product?
Receiving chargebacks on this product is very uncommon as transactions get authenticated using their own proprietary authentication. Even if there's friendly fraud/chargeback, it's being handled on the Shinhan Card (Authenticated) level and not being passed on to you.

Are installments being settled on a monthly basis or full transaction amount settled upfront?
Installments are always settled for the full transaction amount. The installment agreement is made between the cardholder and the issuing bank. The cardholder is being debited by the issuing bank based on the number of the selected installment periods.
